From our experience in truck brokerage and freight forwarding, we saw that planning (tendering, routing, etc.) was being well-served by technology, but the actual process of handing over freight from one party to another was still entirely analog. As a result, highly capable people were managing basic workflows all day long because there was no better solution. Not only that, but even the most capable humans make mistakes.
